Emily spent her childhood in the small barrier island beach town of Satellite Beach, FL. Summer science camps and working as a theater tech throughout her teen years were leading contributors to her interest in design and construction. She followed her curiosity and found herself in Brooklyn, where she received a Bachelors of Architecture with a Minor in Construction Management at Pratt Institute.
Her architectural career starts in NYC working on a wide range of projects from high end residential construction, to commercial and urgent care design. Emily held a Class 2 expediting license and has worked on approvals and permitting with the NYC DOB and Landmarks. She moved to Los Angeles and worked on retail, multi-family and mixed use buildings.
She is now an independent contractor applying her skills and knowledge to service architecture firms throughout the country.
In her free time, Emily engages in small personal projects, sometimes inspired by her interest in rock climbing.
